Boeing Commercial Airplanes President Jim Albaugh said in an interview that a Rolls-Royce team is visiting the company to explain corrective plans on the Trent 1000.
Boeing announced its latest delay to the 787 in August after Rolls-Royce failed to supply the Trent 1000 to complete certification testing. A Trent 1000 suffered an uncontained failure on Aug. 2 while undergoing ground testing.
