Boeing CFO James Bell gave a clear signal that the aerospace giant is unlikely to re-engine the 737.
Bell said Boeing’s analysis found the re-engine will result in single-digit improvements rather than 14-16 percent being projected by engine suppliers.
But he added that Boeing has not “dismissed” re-engining and will reach a conclusion by end of the year.
