A survey by travel website, Skyscanner, found that most travelers would prefer airliners to create a families-only section on flights.
The website started the poll after an elderly American passenger sued Qantas after a three-year-old screamed on her flight last year. The woman complained of excruciating pain in her ears and was taken to a hospital. Both parties agreed to settle the case under confidentiality.
Nearly 60% of more than 2,000 travelers polled wanted to have such a section and nearly 20% said they prefer child-free flights.
